How Low-E Glass Works in a Lee's Summit House
Low-E glass carries a coating thinner than a hair that reflects heat instead of letting it pass through:

Fine print worth knowing
- Labor and shipping aren’t included in either brand’s lifetime warranty. Sunrise and Joyce supply the replacement parts; labor to install them is not part of the manufacturer coverage.
- Condensation isn’t treated as a defect by Sunrise or Joyce, because it comes from indoor humidity, not the window.
- Sunrise transfers require the new owner to register the warranty with Sunrise, and claims go through the installing dealer.
- Joyce glass breakage excludes tempered and laminated glass. That matters for bathroom windows and windows near doors, where code often requires tempered glass.
